Join in for two days of family fun at the Ontario Truck-or-Treat Food Truck Festival! This community event is held for two days filled with fun activities for the whole family accompanied by delicious food and drinks, live music, crafts, kids costume contests and treats. Everyone is encouraged to come in costumes, and all proceeds go towards Variety Ontario’s programming for individuals with disabilities. One of the best things about this event is that it’s wheelchair accessible with street parking available, so everyone can come in and enjoy the fun times!
Halloween Harvest Festival

We all know the traditions surrounding Halloween, but do you know where they originate and how they were created? If you want to find out this, head towards Bradley Museum to participate in the most popular harvest traditions and old-fashioned customs relating to Halloween. This group event will take visitors across the museum visiting activity stations displaying heritage demonstrations, physically distanced games and warm apple cider. You will also learn how to prepare seasonal Anishinaabe foods, including wild rice and corn directly by the Elder Mark Sault (Gikinoo’amaagew inini) of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

The Halloween Howl night hike is an outdoor event that starts with a lantern lit night hike through Ontario’s woodlands where you will stop to learn some interesting facts about owls, bones, bats and zombie trees. Pumpkins After Dark – Drive Thru

Maan Farms is definitely one of the locals’ favourite places to go to. A place where kids and parents can go and enjoy various activities for all ages. Whether your little one is in the mood for running in the pumpkin patch, wandering in the corn maze, jumping on an oversized pillow, ziplining, or hanging around in the Wooden Fortress or Ashley’s Clubhouse (a tire structure), this farm has it all! They even have goats, pigs, llamas, bunnies, chickens, peacocks, and sheep you can visit and feed. But beware. At night, the corn maze turns into one of the most horrific Halloween haunted houses in BC, so make sure to go during the day to make the most of what the Maan Farms has to offer to children.

This short and fun event is geared towards children aged 1 to 5, so parents participation is required. And yes, costumes are very much encouraged!
Britannia Mine’s “Bad to the Bone” Halloween

On a 12 km ride from Squamish, you can find Britannia Mine Museum and its Halloween-themed event “Bad to The Bone”. It’s made to be a fun and educational experience for the whole family, featuring several exhibitions, events, decorations, and activities. Some of the favourites are the Spooky Skeleton Science Shows, the underground train ride, and the popular Britannia Mine exhibit called BOOM. Due to the safety regulations and the limited number of allowed visitors, online reservations are strongly recommended.
