1) What was your biggest fear before hiring me? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead?
Fear: Finding a dishonest person who would not work on our behalf, not be completely open, and who doesn't relay everything back to us that we didn't know about a property, which could potentially influence our decision.
Come true? No, it didn't come true. We found a person who worked above and beyond our expectations, finding out about minute details which were crucial for us. You were able to research properties and provide important information to us that was misrepresented on the listings such as maintenance costs, etc.
2) What, specifically, was your favorite part of working with me, and why?
You were honest and trustworthy about everything. You gave your outright opinion on important matters, which is something we valued. You gave important advice on renovations that would be most beneficial to us if we chose to sell later on. You were very patient with us during our search for our home - you helped us see 3-4 homes and despite our dissatisfaction on a property, you never pressured us, but rather followed up with us on new listings that may peak an interest in us. We brought relatives to see the properties of interest to us, and you were really nice to all of them, which shows how well you're able to interact with anyone.
3) If you were to recommend me to your best friend, what would you say?
You may have heard horror stories about dealing with an agent who only seeks a quick sale, not caring about you. Bahaa is someone who does not meet that stereotype. We’re writing to you as a very small way of thanking you, which in comparison to what you did for us is really nothing. What you did for us could not have been expected from anybody. And to be frank, a real estate agent was someone I was extremely hesitant to contact, especially since I had never dealt with one before. In all honesty we were highly doubtful anyone could help us get out of a contract for a mould infested house we had only signed 24 hours ago and into a new place we could really appreciate and be happy in 24 hours later. But your response once we explained the situation to you, made us feel that calling you was the best choice we could have ever made. Never could have we expected anyone to do what you did for us. Not only did you clear your appointments and schedule for that day, but you didn't rest until we had the keys for our new place in our hands. Aside from finding us a great place, you reassured us and gave us hope when we had none; you taught and explained exactly what every document we had to sign stated and meant. You made sure to make us feel comfortable and that we knew what was going on every step of the way. You fought through everyone you had to for us and made sure we were being treated with complete fairness and even though we had to go through a lot of obstructions— you worked towards our situation as if it was your own. So in short, thank you for being our coach, our fighter, our real estate agent, and definitely our friend. No other person would have done what you did for us and made it so painless. Biggest 2 fears I had walking into this process. 1) Not finding a place that would meet all my requirements, as I had a very detailed list. 2) Having someone represent me, who did not have my best interest at heart. Yes, both came true before my dealings with Bahaa. 1) There were always major issues for each property I was presented with, mind you I was doing the search on my own. 2) I did not hire an agent, but I did have potential agents show me places and their interest in me as a client was not there. They never sat down with me to help guide me through the process or further assist with my search. Bahaa, went above and beyond for us during the whole process. It was a long haul and a very deep learning experience, as our objectives kept changing due to market availability. Nonetheless, he never allowed us to lower our standards and continued the search with us on almost a daily basis. He was right by our side every possible step of the way and went even further to put our needs before any of his our interests. This is a rare characteristic trait in this industry today. My favourite part was the learning process, believe it or not. You never said no to us when we wanted to dig deeper and in fact you went out of your way to make sure we got the answers we needed in a very timely manner. You showed up for every appointment, every meeting and always asked questions and addressed your concerns to ensure we made the most valuable and educated decision. You never gave up on us, even when we were exhausted with the whole search and thought there was no way we would find a place. I've already started my recommendations. I've told those and including my best friend that you ARE there from the first home visitation right up until we got the keys in our hand. You even make follow up calls to see that everything was promised. There is no better agent than one that put his client's first every single day.
